WALK-A-THON TO TAKE PLACE IN PHILADELPHIA IN COMMEMORATION OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

The Armenians of Philadelphia will host a walk-a-thon and program in
commemoration of the Armenian genocide on April 19. The purpose of the
gathering is to bring together Armenians from the Philadelphia area,
honor the strength and perseverance of victims of the genocide, insist
on recognition of the genocide, and ensure that no group of people
suffer such crimes against humanity in the future. The walk-a-thon
will begin at the Philadelphia Art Museum area.
