In Sochi RA president Vladimir Putin and President-Elect Dmitry
Medvedev will meet with US President George Bush, who is arriving in
Russia for two-day visit. This meeting is considered `historic,’ since
it will become the last stage of long cooperation between Putin and
Bush.

Bush will arrive in Sochi in the second half of the day and will dine
with his Russian counterpart. Sunday Bush is expected to have a meeting
with Putin and Medvedev. The visit will be concluded with a `working
dinner.’

Sources in the Kremlin told RIA Novosti that `very warm’ relations have
been established between Putin and Bush. The leaders of the two
countries held regular contacts. Since 2001 they met 23 times face-to
face, not counting the phone conversations.

The US President will be accompanied by a 700-member delegation that
will include Condoleezza Rice, Assistant to US President on Security
Issues Steven Headley and others.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
