Armenian Party Leader To Be Appointed Security Chief

ARMENIAN PARTY LEADER TO BE APPOINTED SECURITY CHIEF

Yerevan, 11 April: After the appointment of leader of the Orinats
Yerkir [Law-Governed Country] party Artur Baghdasaryan to the position
of secretary of the Security Council under the Armenian President,
the duties of the leader the party’s parliamentary faction will be
fulfilled by Heghine Bisharyan, member of the Orinats Yerkir faction
Mher Shahgeldyan said in Yerevan today.

He recalled that Bisharyan is the secretary of the faction and that she
headed Artur Baghdasaryan’s election headquarters in the [19 February]
presidential election.

The deputy mandate of Artur Baghdasaryan, who was elected under the
proportional representation system, will pass on to the head of the
Lori area organization of Orinats Yerkir, Khachik Harutyunyan.
