SITUATION IN TRANSCAUCASIA WAS AMONG ISSUES DISCUSSED AT SESSION OF RUSSIAN-TURKISH HIGH-LEVEL JOINT GROUP

ArmInfo. The situation inn Transcaucasia was among the issues discussed
at the session of the Russian-Turkish High-Level Joint Group. As RF
FM press service reports, the eighth session of the Russian-Turkish
High-Level Joint Group was held on April 11 in Ankara. The Group’s
Cochairs – deputy Foreign Minister of Russia V. Titov and deputy
Foreign Minister of Turkey U. Chevikoz considered the key issues of
the Russian-Turkish cooperation and determined the priorities of
its further development. The regional and international problems,
in particular, the situation in Balkans, in Cyprus settlement,
Afghanistan, Iraq, Black Sea region, Transcaucasia and Central Asia
were discussed as well. It is scheduled to hold the next session of
the Russian-Turkish High-Level Joint Group in Moscow.
