COMPILATION OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL ATLAS OF YEREVAN TO BE DONE THIS YEAR

YEREVAN, APRIL 15, NOYAN TAPAN. Yerevan mayor’s office will implement
the work on compilation of the Historical and Cultural Atlas of
Yerevan this year. The chief architect of Yerevan Samvel Danielian
said at the April 14 press conference that this work will be done by
the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography.

The atlas will contain information on the georgaphical location of
Yerevan, its climatic conditions, resources, history (starting from
the city’s foundation until our days), as well as prospects of its
development.

According to S. Danielian, the atlas will be published in 2009.
