HEAD OF ETHIOPIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH ARRIVES IN ANTELIAS

ANTELIAS, APRIL 16, ARMENIANS TODAY – NOYAN TAPAN. Patriarch Abune
Paulos of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church arrived in Lebanon on April
15. At the airport he was met by the representative of Catholicos of
Cilicia Aram I, bishops and monks.

The purpose of the visit of the Ethiopian Patriarch is to express his
gratitude to His Holiness Aram I for his role as conciliator between
the Coptic and Ethiopian Churches.

It was reported from Mayravank of Antelias that Patriarch Abune Paulos
returns to Addis Ababa today.
