/PanARMENIAN.Net/ On March 14, 2008, Armenia’s Prosecutor General
Aghvan Hovsepyan sent a written address to UN Resident Coordinator in
Armenia Consuelo Vidal and Head of OSCE Yerevan Office Sergey Kapinos
to engage the organizations’ representatives in the forensic medical
examination in the framework of investigation of the March 1 and 2
events, reported the press unit of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

However, both officials said their organizations do not have experts
fitting the case.

Earlier, CoE Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg stated
necessity of an independent investigation into the events in order
to avoid similar incidents in future.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
