Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. "Azerbaijan sees the status of Nagorno
Karabakh only within the framework of its territorial integrity and
this will be so. There is no other variant or way", Spokesman for
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Khazar Ibrahim said, APA reports.

Taking a stance on US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s statement
"If the sides settle for a compromise, the conflict can be solved
soon", the diplomat mentioned that the US as the co-chair of the OSCE
Minsk Group actively participated in the process of negotiations.

"But we await more proper messages from the US to Armenia. Both the
US and other co-chairing countries are aware of Azerbaijan’s principle
position", he said.
