VAHRAM SHEMMASSIAN AND RICHARD HOVHANNISIAN TO MAKE SPEECHES DURING DIFFERENT EVENTS ON ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

LOS ANGELES APRIL 22, ARMENIANS TODAY – NOYAN TAPAN. Prof. Vahram
Shemmassian, Assistant Professor of Armenian and Director of the
Armenian Studies Program at California State University, will speak
at the Ararat-Eskijian Museum on May 4. The lecture is entitled "The
Rescue of Enslaved Armenian Women and Children in Syria at the End
of the World War I Genocide." It will be co-sponsored by the Museum
and the National Association for Armenian Studies and Research (NAASR).
And Armenian Genocide Scholar, Dr. Richard Hovannisian will speak on
Armenian Genocide in Massachusets on May 2 during an event dedicated
to Holocaust Memorial Day.
