POSSIBILITIES OF DEEPENING COOPERATION BETWEEN RA AND NKR MINISTRIES OF EDUCATION DISCUSSED IN STEPANAKERT

YEREVAN, 23.04.08. DE FACTO. The issues referring to the situation in
the Nagorno-Karabakh secondary and higher educational system and the
course of amendments being implemented in the sphere were discussed
at the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakian’s meeting
with a delegation of the RA Ministry of Education and Science headed
by Minister Levon Mkrtchian.
According to the Central Department of Information under the NKR
President, the meeting’s participants mentioned the necessity of
deepening cooperation between the RA and NKR educational structures,
in part, in the sphere of higher education.
Pargev Martirosian, the leader of the Artsakh Eparchy of the Armenian
Apostolic Church, Ashot Gulian, the Chair of the NKR National Assembly,
Ara Harutyunian, the NKR PM, and Vladik Khachatrian, the NKR Minister
of Education and Science, also participated in the meeting.
