PRIME MINISTER RECEIVES AGBU CHAIRMAN

YEREVAN, APRIL 29, ARMENPRESS: Prime minister Tigran Sarkisian received
today Berj Sedrakian, chairman of the Armenian General Benevolent Union
(AGBU).
The government press office quoted Sedrakian as saying he was still
impressed by his latest meeting with Sarkisian when he served as
governor of the Central Bank of Armenia. He wished him success in
his new capacity.
Berj Sedrakian also spoke about AGBU and its mission to help Armenian
Diasporas throughout the world. He said he has come here to show
his support for the government and people, help implement different
projects and link Diaspora young Armenians to their homeland.
Tigran Sarkisian assured Berj Sedrakian he was inspired by his
latest meeting with him. He said his government program of actions
that was submitted today to parliament’s approval, is anchored on
knowledge-based economy. He also vowed to help AGBU implement its
programs in Armenia.
"We have designed many ambitious programs, which we hope you will help
us realize. We have young people that should see their implementation
and be proud of it. The people are tired of words, it is time to turn
our words into deeds," he was quoted as saying.
