PHOTOEXHIBITION "FIRST GENOCIDE OF 20th CENTURY" BEING HELD IN LIBRARY OF TARTU UNIVERSITY

TARTU, APRIL 30, ARMENIANS TODAY – NOYAN TAPAN. A photoexhibition
"The First Genocide of the 20th Century" is being held from April 21
to May 11 in the library of Tartu University. The exhibition is timed
for April 24, the memory day of victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

The exposition includes photocopies of archives documents, memories
of eye-witnesses and photographs about mass murders and persecutions
of Armenians in Ottoman Turkey. Statistic data about the number of
Armenians, parishes, schools in 1914 and 1922 are also presented.
