The most longstanding Speaker of the House of Representatives to serve
for the law firm backing up BTC

Representatives, Congressmen from Illinois Dennis Hastert will serve
for the influential `Dickstein Shapiro LLP’ which backs up
Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) project.
APA US bureau quotes ABC, Dennis Hastert, the most longstanding
Speaker of the House of Representatives, will be Chief Adviser on the
State Legislation and Strategic Groups. The law firm was a legal
adviser of the Energy Ministry of Turkey and Turkish `Botash’ Company
in the intergovernmental agreement signed in Istanbul, Turkey in 1999
between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia. `Dickstein Shapiro LLP’
addressed the tax, land and environment issues in the territories the
pipeline passed through.
Dickstein Shapiro LLP provides 100 of 500 largest companies of the
United States with the legal services. US Armenian National Committee
stated that Dennis Hastert would work for prevention of congressional
discussions on 106th draft law on recognition of so-called `Armenian
genocide’.
