DR. GARBIS DER-YEGHIAYAN APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF THE MULTICAMPUS
AMERICAN UNIVERSITY FOR HUMANITIES

The Board of Directors of the American University for Humanities (AUH)
recently announced the appointment of distinguished scholar and
prominent university administrator, Dr. Garbis Der-Yeghiayan, President
of Mashdots College, one of the affiliate institutions of higher
education of the AUH Global Network, as also the President of the
university, responsible for its global operations, effective
immediately.

Dr. Der-Yeghiayan has provided more than 30 years of visionary
leadership in higher education in the United States. He holds doctoral
degrees in educational Management and leadership as well as in human
development and social policy. He serves on numerous non-profit boards
in Southern California and is actively involved in Rotary
International, having served with distinction as district governor. He
is the recipient of Rotary’s highest honor, the "Service Above
Self"award, in recognition of his global peace efforts. In addition he
serves as a Los Angeles County Inmate Welfare Commissioner. He has
authored14 books on education, history and current affiars. He
generously volunteers his time, talents and resources for the welfare
of the
community and humanity.

The American University for Humanities is a global multimedia
consortium of officially recognized colleges, universities and
campuses, offering Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs. The
followng institutions of higher education are members of the consortium:
