SHEN COMPANY TO EXPAND PROGRAMS BEING REALIZED IN ARTSAKH

YEREVAN, 10.06.08. DE FACTO. On June 9 the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic
President Bako Sahakian received the representatives of Shen Company
Hayk Minasian and Emil Abramian.

Upon completion of the meeting the plenipotentiary representative of
Shen Company Hayk Minasian stated that the issues referring to the
organization’s current programs and further plans had been discussed
at the meeting. "We have realized the programs on granting computers
to rural communities’ schools. In 2005 we also indicated a credit
program on vineyard’s planting", Hayk Minasian said.

Speaking of the future programs Hayk Minasian noted that Shen Company
also intended to plant pomegranate gardens in Artsakh. "We’ll expand
development programs and we’ll cooperate not only with Martuni
region, but also with the communities of Askeran and Martakert",
the organization’s plenipotentiary representative said.

As for the organization’s passive activity for the last years
Hayk Minasian said, "At one time we realized only humanitarian
programs. Today we have changed our activity’s direction and work on
development programs. Such work is sluggish, our passiveness must be
conditioned by this fact".
