On the initiative of Rown Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, a
meeting of representatives of different churches and theologians took
place between June 3-5 in London. The objective of the meeting was,
first of all, to study the cooperation suggestion signed by a group
of Moslems and addressed to the Christian spiritual heads about four
months ago and give a common answer.
Mrs. Teni Piri-Simonian, the Deputy Chairwoman of the Ecumenical
Committee of the Catholicosate, took part in the conference from
the Catholicosate of the Great Cilician House. Apart from the
above-mentioned conference, Mrs.
Simonian had a meeting with the Archbishop, passing the friendly
greetings of Aram I, the Catholicos of the Great Cilician House.
