YEREVAN, JUNE 17, NOYAN TAPAN. By breaking the agreement made
beforehand, the Congress hotel has refused to give a hall to
the Helsinki Civil Assembly, the members of which were going to
organize a discussion there on June 18. As Natalya Martirosian, the
representative of the Assembly, stated on June 17, a collaborator
of the security of the hotel informed her that "we cannot give you
a hall as we have a corresponding instruction", not clarifying who
has given that instruction. In the words of Natalya Martirosian, this
is already the fifth time hotels have refused to give a hall for the
holding of events to political and non-governmental organizations.
