ArmInfo. Converse Bank, one of the leading banks of Armenia,
has brought a new saving product "Hit Summer" to the market of
deposits. Converse Bank’s press-service told ArmInfo that the bank
will hold a new action "Hit Summer" from June 16 till August 16.

According to the source, within the frames of this action, a holder
of the saving account will receive a free Visa credit card (without
payment for annual service) from the bank within the first 6 months
and a safe deposit box with 50% discount. Three months after opening
of the account, these clients are given a chance to obtain credit at
an interest rate, which is by 1% low than the current rates ranging
between 12% and 26% depending on the credit product. Lusine Margaryan,
the head of the bank’s press-service, said that this action will
give the clients an excellent chance not to worry about the safety
of their personal savings during summer holidays by placing them on
a saving account, and precious articles – in safe deposit boxes of
the bank. She noted that traditionally saving accounts have low rates.

Within the frames of the action, annual interest rates in AMD make
up 3%, in USD – 2%, in European currency – 1%.

To recall, this is the second action held by the bank in 2008 to
attract depositors. The first action on deposit "Zartonk" was held
from March 24 till May 31 and attracted over 2 bln AMD. A total of
600 depositors were involved in the first action, 42,6% of them were
new clients.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
