LEVON TER-PETROSIAN MEETS WITH CO-SPEAKERS OF PACE MONITORING COMMISSION

YEREVAN, JUNE 17, NOYAN TAPAN. Levon Ter-Petrosian, the first President
of the Republic of Armenia, had a meeting with John Prescott and
George Colombier, the co-Speakers of the Monitoring Commission of the
Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, on June 16. According
to the message of the Center of the National Movement, the fulfilment
process of Resolution 1609 of the Parliamentary Assembly of the
Council of Europe (PACE), as well as the ways for overcoming the
political crisis existing in Armenia were discussed during the meeting.
