ARMENIAN AND BELGIAN FOREIGN MINISTERS DISCUSS PROSPECTS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ARMENIAN-BELGIAN RELATIONS

Armenian Foreign Minsiter Edvard Nalbandyan, who is currently in
Brussels, met Belgian Foreign Minister Karel de Gucht.

The press-service of the Armenian foreign ministry told ArmInfo that
during the meeting Nalbandyan expressed content with the active trade
and economic contacts between Armenia and the Kingdom of Belgium. He
noted that there is direct evidence of a potential for their expansion
and diversification, particularly, in the sphere of high technologies
and science. The meeting also covered the situation in the South
Caucasus region and the prospects for cooperation within the frames
of international organizations.
