ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER VIOLATED

Press Service of RA Ministry of Defense informs that on June 17 at
about 07:45 the alarm system of the 6th frontier post of Artashat
signaled. At 07:45 footprints were revealed in the same area, but no
one was found as a result of search works.
At 11:00 Turkish border guards reported that they arrested RA citizen,
resident of Artashat city Arsen Avagyan (born in 1971).
Currently negotiations are underway with mediation of the Armenian
Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross to return
Arsen Avagyan.
