"No sooner had the committee been set up than there developed
an atmosphere of distrust around it. When the committee was set
up, the propaganda of distrust continued before the start of the
activities. While the activities are in process, criticism, compromise
etc. will add to them.

I do really anticipate that.

I also anticipate and see an ironic and scornful attitude. As the
Chair of the Committee, I realize it perfectly well. I am sure
that hard though the committee may try to be fair and impartial and
accomplish its tasks, there will always be people who will criticize
it. Yes, there will always be people who will think that the committee
didn’t work well," SAMVEL NIKOYAN, Head of the NA Interim Committee
investigating the March 1-2 events says.
