ARMENIAN ISSUE TO BE DISCUSSED ON JUNE 25

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe yesterday began
its summer session in Strasburg.

Armenia’s compliance with the requirements of Resolution # 1609 has
been included in the Assembly’s agenda as an urgent issue which is
going to be discussed on June 25.

Urgent discussion will be held over the activities of the democratic
institutions in Turkey as well; the Foreign Minister of the country
has been invited to the discussion. The issue of the activities of
the democratic institutions of Azerbaijan was also included in the
agenda of the Assembly.

The session will continue its work till June 27.

The delegation of the RA National Assembly is participating in the
PACE discussions under the leadership of Mr. David Haroutyunyan.
