ECRETARY OF THE ARMENIAN SECURITY COUNCIL ORDERED ORGANIZATION OF BORDER-2008 EXERCISES OF CSTO ON A DUE LEVEL

Artur Bagdasarov, secretary of the national security council of
Armenia, issued instructions about organization of joint command staff
exercises Border-2008 of the Collective Security Treaty Organization
(CSTO).
The joint command staff exercises Border-2008 will take place in summer
and autumn of 2008 in four stages on the territories of Armenia and
Russia with participation of about 4,000 servicemen from Armenia,
Russia and Tajikistan.
In the course of the active phase of the exercises Russia, Armenia
and Tajikistan will be represented by military units and other
CSTO member states will be represented by operational groups of the
defense ministries.
