GOVERNMENT CAN PROVIDE SUPPORT IN CREATION OF ARMENIA YOUTH DREAMS OF, TIGRAN SARGSIAN SAYS

More than 500 young people of Armenia and NKR, including
representatives of youth NGOs, take part in the third youth conference
under the title Youth, Reality, Prospects being held on June 25-27
in Yerevan. It is held by the Center for Organization of Youth Events
with the support of the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
According to Artur Poghosian, the RA Deputy Minister of Sport and
Youth Affairs, issues dedicated to state youth policy, international
cooperation in the sphere of youth, problems of regional youth will
be discussed during the conference. According to him, the goal of
the conference is to raise awareness about youth public field, to
promote youth NGO-state contacts and cooperation. Besides, modern
problems related to the youth will be brought to light, the ways of
their solution will be discussed during the conference.
According to RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian, if we wish to learn
the answer to the question about our country’s future, we should work
with the youth. "Our country’s future will be the way you, today’s
young people, imagine it. Tomorrow’s Armenia will be like the values
you have," the Prime Minister said adding that the government can
support the young people in creation of Armenia they dream of.
An exhibition under the title Fair of Thoughts opened within
the framework of the conference. 90 youth NGOs of RA, NKR, and
Javakhk, as well as international organizations take part in the
exhibition. According to the organizers, the exhibition will give
its participants a possibility to present their programs, activity
prospects. A competition of program bids will be also held within the
framework of the program, as a result of which three youth programs
will be financed.
