"HIMA" MEMBER BEATEN

An activist of "Hima" (Now) Youth Movement, Narek Hovakimian, was
severely beaten in the subway of Koriun-Abovian streets at 3.30 p.m. on
June 25. Narek studies at Yerevan’s State University of Economy. He
was called out of the auditorium by two broad-shouldered men to have
a talk, "Hima" member Michael Aznavurian informed A1+.

Narek took to flight but they got him in the subway and began
beating him.

Presently Narek is in the resuscitation department of "St. Grigor
Lusavorich" Medical Centre. He is undergoing a medical
examination. Michael Aznavurian says Narek received bruises on
the head.

To remind, another opposition activist Arsen Kharatian was beaten
in May.
