NKR President Visits Martuni

NKR PRESIDENT VISITED MARTUNI

On June 29 the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakian
visited the village of Sos, Martuni region, and participated in
a solemn ceremony of unveiling a monument to warriors killed in
Artsakh war.

According to the Central Department of Information under the
NKR President, the state’s head presented awards to those, who
distinguished in issue of homeland’s defense.

On the same day the state’s head visited the Monastery Complex of
Amaras, Tchartar reservoir and familiarized himself with restoration
works on the spot.

After that Bako Sahakian visited the environs of the town of Martuni –
Qajavan block – and acquainted himself with the process of irrigation
of territory’s 800 hectares.

The President was accompanied by Ara Harutyunian, NKR PM, Movses
Hakopian, NKR Defense Minister and other officials.
