‘In the talks with by Azerbaijani counterpart Safar Abiyev I outlined
the inhuman actions by the Azerbaijani snipers’, Defense Minister of
Armenia Seyran Ohanyan told media
Thursday when commenting on his meeting with S. Abiyev in Bishkek,
Kygyzstan. The two ministers participated in the meeting of CIS Council
of Defense Ministers. S. Ohanyan said he informed his Azerbaijani
counterpart that Azerbaijani snipers killed two residents of the
village of Chinar, Tavush region, Armenia. ‘I told Abiyev that an
Azerbaijani sniper injured the Armenian villager and then shot a
second time to kill him. When the Azerbaijan minister told me that
the actions of Armenian armed forces also resulted in victims on their
party, I told him that it was punishment for the village of Chinar’,
the minister said. He also informed media that the Azerbaijani victims
were much more than 2 people. S. Ohanyan said that with S. Abiyev they
touched upon the reduction of ceasefire violation cases in Karabakh
conflict zone, the issue of sooner return of 4 Armenian captives that
