Armenian opposition planning continuous sit-down strike

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian opposition is planning a continuous
sit-down strike, which "will result in a new presidential election,"
leader of the National Movement David Shahnazaryan told an opposition
rally on July 4.
Another speaker, Levon Zurabyan, informed that the sit-down strike
will last 4 weeks, till the next rally due on August 1.
Armenia’s first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan, chairman of People’s
Party Stepan Demirchyan, chairman of Republic party Aram Sargsyan,
head of Hnchakyan Social Democratic party Lyudmila Sargsyan, member of
ANM board and representatives of other opposition forces have gathered
to lead the rally held in front of Matenadaran, the Depositary of
Ancient Manuscripts, IA Regnum reports.
Meanwhile, Yerevan Mayor’s Office did not authorize at Matenadaran and
offered Hrazdan stadium or republican stadium after Vazgen Sargsyan as
an alternative.
