PREVIOUS CONSTITUTION ACCEPTED BY PREVIOUS AUTHORITIES

Constitution is not appropriately applied as independent court system,
rule of law and legal state is to be established for that, said Avetik
Ishkhanyan the president of Helsinki Committee.

He said that this day should become a holiday if fair and transparent
voting was conducted, but if has been dictated then it just could not
become a holiday.

`If there is no rule of law then Armenia has no future,’ he said.
A. Ishkhanyan said that the previous Constitution and the ongoing one
have not been affirmed by public consensus, as they are not the
results of public discussion.
