MINISTER NALBANDIAN MET WITH HIS CZECH COUNTERPART

On July 6 RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the Foreign
Minister of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg.
Greeting the Foreign Minister and the delegation headed by him,
Minister Nalbandian noted that the Armenian-Czech Relations are of
warm and friendly nature, and this visit will give new impetus to
the development of relations in different spheres.
During the meeting Ministers Nalbandian and Schwarzenberg discussed
the ways of deepening the cooperation between our countries in the
political, economic and humanitarian fields.
The parties noted that the political dialogue is developing, the two
countries are successfully cooperating in bilateral and multilateral
formats.
Reference was made to Armenia-EU relations. Minister Nalbandian
noted that Armenia welcomes the initiative of Eastern Partnership
and continues its steps directed at further integration with the
European family.
The Foreign Ministers attached importance to the formation of the
contractual-legal field, noting that it should be started almost
from zero.
Referring to the rich cultural heritage of the two peoples, the
Armenian Foreign Minister suggested to undertake concrete steps to
foster the cooperation in the cultural sphere.
The Ministers discussed issues connected with regional security
and stability.
Upon the request of the Czech Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian
presented the current stage of the negotiation process on the Nagorno
Karabakh conflict settlement
