MAKING ASSESSMENTS

As announced by Mr. Bourak Ozyugueren, Spokesman of Turkey’s Foreign
Ministry, Ankara has received Armenian President Serge Sargsyan’s
official invitation to Abdullah Gyull for watching the Turkey-Armenia
qualifying football match together and is now making assessments. The
match is to take place on September 6.

B. Ozyugueren said that they admitted President S. Sargsyan’s
characterization on the absence of any other alternative to
establishing normal relations between the two countries. "The letters
exchanged between the two countries right after the presidential
elections of Armenia also contained elements with similar contents. We
accept S. Sargsyan’s statement with satisfaction."
