A NUMBER OF WRITERS REWARDED WITH NKR STATE AWARDS
STEPANAKERT, JULY 14, NOYAN TAPAN. Under the decree of NKR President
Bako Sahakian, a number of writers have been rewarded with NKR state
awards for their contribution to development of Armenian literature and
culture, active promotion of national-liberation struggle ideas of
Artsakh Armenians.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the General Information Department of
the NKR President’s Administration,
Mesrop Mashtots order was given to:
Hrachya Beglarian, a member of the presidium of the NKR Union of
Writers, a poet,
Vachagan Barepasht medal was given to:
Arkadi Tovmasian, a member of the Board of the NKR Union of Writers, a
poet, a candidate of pedagogical sciences, Hamlet Martirosion, the
editor-in-chief of the Yeghitsi Luys newspaper of the NKR Union of
Writers, a prosaist, David Mikayelian, the Secretary of the NKR Union
of Writers, a poet, a satirist,
Gratitude medal was given to:
Hovhannes Grigorian, the Secretary of the RA Union of Writers, a poet,
Toros Toronian, a writer, a publicist, a doctor (Arab Republic of
Syria), Sargis Kirakosian, the responsible editor of the literary
department of the Azdak newspaper of Beirut, a poet, a prosaist
(Republic of Lebanon), Vahram Hachian, a poet (posthumously, the United
States of America), Artem Haroutiunian, a poet, a lecturer of Yerevan
State University, doctor-professor of philological sciences.
