HAYASTAN ALL-ARMENIAN FUND PLANS TO IMPLEMENT TWO LARGE SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMS IN ARTSAKH, OPENING OF FIRST-AID POSTS AND BUILDING OF WATER PIPELINE

Ara Vardanian, the Acting Executive Director of the Hayastan
All-Armenian Fund, on July 12, visited the Nagorno Karabakh
Republic. During the visit, he met with NKR Prime Minister Arayik
Haroutiunian and Urban Development Minister Anahit Vardanian and
accompanied by them visited Hadrut hospital repaired with the
sponsorship of Fund’s Los Angeles branch.
According to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, a number of new programs
subject to implementation by the Fund in Artsakh were approved by
both sides.
It is planned to implement two large programs in the school
construction sphere: the school of Chartar, Martuni region, one of the
largest villages of Artsakh, will be repaired with the financing of
Fund’s French branch and a new school will be built in Spitakashen with
the sponsorship of Toronto branch. New first-aid posts will be built
in three rural communities with joint financing of Los Angeles and
French branches. The program also envisages their complete furnishing
and providing an ambulance car to each of them. Construction of a water
pipeline in the village of Berdashen is also among the future plans.
