TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION MINISTER GETS ACQUAINTED WITH THE ISSUES OF THE SPHERE IN SYUNIK

Armenian Transport and Communication Minister Gurgen Sargsian was in
Syunik on July 15 on a one-day working visit. This was the first visit
of the newly appointed minister to Syunik. He traveled in Sisian,
Kapan, Goris and Meghri regions to get acquainted with the issues of
the sphere.

He particularly visited the 243d km of Yerevan-Meghri inter-state road
to see the landslides caused their by heavy rains and which have made
the road sector dangerous for traffic.

Stemming from the situation G. Sargsian gave assignments to carry
out immediate anti-landslide steps.
