ARMENIAN MINISTER OF ECONOMY ACCEPTED HEAD OF YEREVAN OSCE OFFICE

On 17 July 2008 was announced, that the Minister of Economy Nerses
Yeritsyan accepted the head of the Yerevan OSCE office, Ambassador
Sergey Capinos.
Mr. Ambassador informed the Minister on recently developed activities
of the Yerevan OSCE office, which embrace a number of issues and
various spheres: military-political, economic, ecological, human
rights and democracy.
According to the words of Sergey Capinos , the OSCE office closely
watches after the processes developing in Republic of Armenia and the
process of reforms spent by the Armenian government. Mr. Ambassador
expressed preparedness to provide consulting and advisory support
to develop a new strategy aimed at fighting against the corruption,
the implementation of some mechanisms to promote small and medium
enterprises, and the establishment of stable market economy.
During the meeting Nerses Yeritsyan focused the attention of
Mr. Capinos on several direction, where the Yerevan OSCE office can
provide its assistance, for example: the establishment of interactive
links in the schools of the Armenian communities and organizing
the interactive lectures by skilled specialists to train economic
journalists.
