Armenian President Serge Sargsyan has signed the Law "On Grape-Made
Alcoholic Beverages," the presidential press service reported.

The law passed by the parliament a month ago defines the location
of the vineyards allowed to grow hybrids, as well the list of the
regions allowed to grow or process certain types of grapes.

Armenian Ministry of Agriculture is planning to increase the grape
harvest to 300,000 tons and the area of vineyards to 26,000-28,000
hectares within five years, as well as ensure full consumption of
the harvest.
