The colonel Oz gave a statement about the murder of Hrant Dink; saying
that he has no problem of memory but he could not remember anything.

Former Trabzon Gendarmerie Troop Commander Colonel Ali Oz gave a
statement as a witness in the murder of Hrant Dink.

The entire troop knows except for the colonel

Former Trabzon Gendarmerie Troop Commander Colonel Ali Oz stated
that he does not remember anything. But all his staff had said:
"we had communicated him the information about the murder."

Former Trabzon Gendarmerie Troop Commander Colonel Ali Oz who was
assigned at the time of Hrant Dink’s murder gave a statement as a
witness in the case. Oz responded to all the questions by saying either
‘I don’t remember’ or ‘I don’t know’. Oz was accused of covering
up the issue of information that Hrant Dink will be murdered. The
process started with seizing Ogun Samast as the suspect in the murder
of Hrant Dink. The police tracked the phone calls and reached Yasin
Hayal as the solicitor of the murder. Petty officer Okan Å~^imÅ~_ek,
sergeant Veysel Å~^ahin and intelligence officer Metin Yıldız
also gave statement and said that they communicated the necessary
information to Ali Oz but he did not take the proper action.
