ArmInfo. Heritage party pretends to the leading positions at the
parliamentary election 2012 and presidential 2013 in Armenia, member of
the RPA parliamentary faction Armen Ashotyan told journalists, Friday.
"The Heritage party pretends at the role of the main opposition force
in Armenia. The party and the political forces behind it do not want to
blend into the policy of Levon Ter-Petrosyan, if the latter does not
give strict guarantees that the party will inherit his 350,000
electorate>, – he said.
Ashotyan thinks that "This party (Heritage) uses the fruits of Levon
Ter-Petrosyan’s policy and it would be logical if joins Armenian
National Congress so that later to privatize electorate of the first
president". To note, press-secretary of the Heritage party Hovsep
Khurshudyan has recently said he does not rule that
the Heritage party will not join Armenian National Congress.
