ARMENIAN DEPUTY FM SAYS AGENDA OF ARMENIA’S FOREIGN POLICY CANNOT INCLUDE ISSUE ON WITHDRAWAL OF THE COUNTRY FROM CIS

YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, ARMENPRESS: "The agenda of the foreign policy
of Armenia cannot include issue of withdrawal of the country from
the CIS," Armenian deputy foreign minister Gegham Gharibjanian said,
commenting on the question of ITAR-TASS about Armenia’s position over
the activity of the CIS establishments.

"The CIS is a long-term political choice of the Republic of
Armenia. Within the frameworks of cooperation we are carrying out
effective programs especially during the recent years. Last year
the concept of the further development of the CIS was adopted,"
G. Gharibjanian said.
