The upcoming event Lviv Fashion Week will take place in October 3-5,
2008 in Lviv, Ukraine, in the "LEMBERG" Exhibition Centre (176,
B.Khmelnytskogo str).
Lviv Fashion Week is an international fashion-project, mostly aimed
at participants from Eastern and Southern European countries. To
show collections on Lviv Fashion Week are invited well-known and new
designers from the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan,
Baltic States, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech
Republic, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro,
Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Ukraine.
The aim of the project Lviv Fashion Week is to present Lviv as a
fashion centre in East European region. The main idea is to support
new talented designers and to provide them the opportunity to create
and develop their personal brands.
The first Lviv Fashion Week was on March 8-9, 2008. There were
presented twenty-five collections of new and famous designers from
Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Croatia. During two days about 5000
guests visited Lviv Fashion Week.
Lviv Fashion Week runs twice a year in spring and in autumn and offers
a high-quality ground for fashionable defiles and runway shows. 3-5 of
October 2008 Ukrainian and European designers will present collections
"spring-summer 2009" at Lviv Fashion Week.
