NOR KHARBERD ORPHANAGE REPAIRED WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OF LOS ANGELES-BASED "SURB TSNUND" CHAIRITY FUND

YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The specialized orphanage in Nor
Kharberd (Yerevan) was repaired with the financial assistance of Los
Angeles-based "Surb Tsnund" charity fund for orphans and disabled
children. NT was informed by the chairman of the Yerevan Philharmonic
Center Layert Movsisian that the bedrooms, lavatories, balconies and
corridors of the orphanage have undergone repair.
He said that a charity marathon is held in Los Angeles every year on
the initiative of the Fund’s chairman Hovhannes Balayan. This year
it will be organized on November 2, and the raised money will be
allocated to Armenian orphanages.
