LEADERS OF ARMENIAN PUBLIC TV AND TURKISH TRT CHANNEL SIGNED COOPERATION MEMORANDUM

ArmInfo. Leaders of Armenian Public TV and Turkish TRT channel have
signed Cooperation Memorandum.
As Armenian Public TV reported, the memorandum was signed by
Chairman of the council of Armenian Public TV Aleksan Harutyunyan
and Director General of Turkish TRT TV channel Ibragim Shakhin.It
supposes organization of TV and radio programmes about Armenia and
Turkey, experience exchange between the countries which are members of
European Translators’ Union. Secretary General of TRT Ali Kemoglu-Oglu
said at the meeting with Armenia delegation that broadcasting of
the first radio programme in Turkey was organized by Armenians of
Constantinople in 1907 and Turkey still remembers the fact.
