VICE-SPEAKER OF ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT: THE MAIN TASK OF ARMENIA IS OBSERVATION OF THE INTERESTS OF THE STATE IN THE TENSE SITUATION CREATED IN THE REGION

ArmInfo. The main task of Armenia is observation of the interests of
the state in the tense situation created in the region, vice-speaker
of Armenian National Assembly, representative of ARF Dashnaktiutyun
Hrayr Karapetyan said at today’s press-conference in Hayatsk club.

He also added that the last events in Georgia have shown that the
war way has no prospect. Touching on Armenia’s possible recognition
of Abkhazia and South Ossetia he said Armenia must not hurry in this
matter. ‘The CSTO summit will take place on 5 September. We have to
wait for the statements made at the summit and then make conclusions’,
– vice-speaker said.
