SEYRAN OHANYAN: NKR DEFENSE ARMY HAS SHOWED THAT IT IS READY TO RESIST ANY PROVOCATION

ArmInfo. "If May is a month of victories, September is a month of
independence and statehood for our people, as today is Artsakh’s
Independence Day, and September 21 is the Day of the Republic of
Armenia", Armenian Defense Minister, Colonel-General Seyran Ohanyan
said during festive activities dedicated to the 17th anniversary of
proclamation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

Seyran Ohanyan noted that independence is the greatest achievement
today.

"Today we should not only recall and praise all those people who
created this day, but also do our best to defend our motherland and
ensure its development as this is demanded by today’s geopolitical
realias and the situation in the region", he added. "Unlike other
regions, we have a different situation as there is a Defense Army of
the NKR, which is improving with every passing day. The NKR Defense
Army has showed that it is ready to resist any provocation and it
does its best to improve itself", Ohanyan said.
