ARMENIA: KARABAKH TELECOM EXPANDS NETWORK

The Armenian telecommunication company Karabakh Telecom (the
trademark ViVa Cell) is to invest US$ 60-70mn (EUR 38.4-44.79mn) in
infrastructure till the end of 2008. The major part of the funds are
to be used for the network expansion. The company intends to launch
the network 3G in late 2008-early 2009 in the three biggest cities
of the country.
