19 PEOPLE DROWNED IN WATER RESERVOIRS OF ARMENIA

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS: About 19 people drowned in water
reservoirs of the country during this year, three of them drowned in
Lake Sevan.
Press secretary of the Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry
Susanna Abrahamian told Armenpress the cases are connected with
accidents during fishing or other tragic incidents. The drowning cases
in Lake Sevan were registered in places which are not controlled by
lifeguards.
In 2007 the number of drowned people reached 27, three of them in
Lake Sevan.
