A.Rustamyan. `3+3 figure is the right one’
Goran Lenmark, special envoy on Nagorno Karabakh issue at the ONCE
Parliamentary Assembly during the meetings discussed Armenia-Turkish
relationship. As Lenamrk mentioned Armenia had a historical chance to
help Turkey, where many powers want to make the country modern and
European, but it had 2 obstacles. According to Lenmark religious
members of current government want not to apart State and Religion in
Turkey which is important from the point of reaching European
civilization. Turkey must find strength to accept the Genocide and
become a member of Euro union. The members of the current government
are all religious.
Lenmark says that the establishment of Armenian-Turkish relationship
is important and the first step is the opening of the boarder, having
been closed only by Turkey. Chairman of NA, Tigran Torosyan noticed
that first the countries of the territory must be most interested in
corporation for the establishment of peace, security and welfare and
not do steps which will forcen the tension.
Vice-chairman of NA, Armen Rustamyan noticed that the 3+2 figure
(South Caucasian states and Russia, Turkey) will not bring corporation
of all value, without Persia. According to him 3+3 figure is the right
one.
The head of ARF grouping Vahan Hovhannisyan noticed the started from
Alp Arslyan invasion in 11 century. Gule is the first leader who comes
to Armenia as a guest. ‘We accept the gusts as guests, but the
responsibility of what preceding leaders did, is still on Gule`s
shoulders. Today`s Turk is responsible for the actions done by
preceding leaders, still doesn`t accept the Genocide’,-he added.
