NALCHIK, SEPTEMBER 9, NOYAN TAPAN. The second games of the
quarter-finals at Women’s World Knockout Chess Championship were
held in Nalchik, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, on September
8. Armenian GM Lilit Mkrtchian was beaten by Hou Yifan of China and
lost the right to continue further struggle.
