ArmInfo. The Armenian opposition is concerned over the negotiations
between the Armenian and Turkish presidents, says the member of the
central office of the Armenian National Congress Levon Zurabyan.

Particularly, they are concerned over Turkey’s ambition to play a
leading role in the South Caucasus and given the passivity of the OSCE
Minsk Group to undertake the role of mediator in the Nagorno-Karabakh
peace process.

This is unacceptable to Armenia. ‘We are concerned that Serzh
Sargsyan and Abdullah Gul can make a deal: mediation in exchange for
recognition of Sargsyan’s legitimacy. Sargsyan may do it in order
to appear legitimate in the eyes of his people and the international
community,’ says Zurabyan.
